What are the opening hours?

Do I need to make a reservation?

Full=full. You may certainly come to eat without a reservation, but if you want to make sure there is a table free for you, reservations are recommended.

 

Can I also have a (children's) party there?

Of course you can come and have a party with us! We don't have a special children's party package. You can just make a reservation for the number of people. Would you like to come with a very large group or even rent the whole restaurant for a private party? There are possibilities for this as well! Please contact us.

 

How do you deal with allergies?

Do you have an allergy? Please always report this to us so we can provide you with all the information. Our products can always contain traces of nuts. For the pancakes, we can make them gluten-free or lactose-free.

 

Do you have any other dishes?

We like to be good at what we do. So we only bake pancakes and pizza. You can join us at Restaurant Het Karrewiel, the other restaurant at vacation park Ackersate, do eat à la carte.

 

Is a dog allowed?

Unfortunately, a dog is not allowed in the restaurant. If you choose a place outside on the terrace, the dog is allowed on a leash.

 

I heard something about a scavenger hunt, is the scavenger hunt free?

That's right, we have a scavenger hunt from Restaurant the Beehive to the indoor playground. You play the scavenger hunt together with Buzz the Bee. You can read more about this on Buzz the Bee's page. The scavenger hunt is completely free! You can pick up the required materials at Restaurant de Bijenkorf within opening hours.

 

How long will the scavenger hunt take?

During the scavenger hunt, you will look for signs with bee facts. You will encounter several along the way. The duration of the scavenger hunt depends on your walking speed, the time it takes to absorb the bee facts and the time spent playing. If you would walk the scavenger hunt at normal walking speed without stopping, it is about ten minutes.

 

From what age is it fun with you?

You are always welcome with us! The outdoor playgrounds are suitable for all ages, the indoor playground for children up to 10 years old. The play corner in our restaurant is approximately for children up to 6 years old.

 

What if the weather is bad?

You can sit inside to eat at restaurant the Beehive. Inside the restaurant there is also a play corner for the youngest children. For the scavenger hunt with Buzz it is handy to bring an umbrella. The scavenger hunt takes you to the indoor playground where you can play nice and dry even if it rains.

 

Is the restaurant only for guests of Ackersate?

No, definitely not! In fact, you are very welcome to visit as a non-guest of the vacation park. Come eat and play! Because our restaurant is located on vacation park Ackersate you have extra opportunities to make a day of it. Swimming, trampolining, playing in the indoor and outdoor playgrounds. It's all allowed.

 

Can I come and work or intern with you?
